Rhys Bowen
Nickname- Greasy Rhysy
Bike- Mongoose Crossway 125
Height- 5ft 11      Weight- 11st
Strength- Moaning / Criticism

Rhys got a lot of practice in cycling the hills of Ickenham as a teenager while doing an early morning paper round. However he suffered a heartbreaking injury which resulted in him becoming lopsided and retiring from cycling. He decided that 2011 was the year to come out of retirement and hopes that he can even out his luggage to prevent further lopsidedness

Ollie Houston
Nickname- Olly Mcbeal
Bike- Pinnacle Borealis 1.0
Height- 5ft 10    Weight- 10st 9
Strength- Accessorizing his bike

Ollie has taken a break from the busy life of a female lawyer in a mans world to participate in this once in a lifetime cycle ride. He was born and bred in the hills of Wales and has decided it is about time to give up riding sheep in exchange for riding a two wheeled vehicle. He's got the outfit but does he have what it takes.... we shall see.

Rob Scoltock
Nickname- Berty the Biker
Bike- Specialized Sectur Sport
Height- 5ft 10    Weight- 10st 10
Strength- None

Robert has decided to cycle the length of the country to reduce the size of his ankles so that he can go out on the town wearing skinny jeans and lycra. Robert brings much needed handyman ‘know how’ to the team so that if we ever run into any kind of trouble involving wood, he will ‘hit the nail on the head’ so to speak and we can continue on our way. He has taken to cycling like a Pakistani cricketer to cheating however he relies heavily upon questionable steroids and maximuscle supplements to see him through the long journeys. Let’s hope the Olympic doping committee do not come knocking on his door anytime soon….

Steve Bolton
Nickname- Steve from Bolton
Bike- Bianchi Xenon Coast to Coast
Height- 5ft 11    Weight -13st
Strength- Planning & Directions

Steve is our most experienced cyclist (having cycled more than 50 miles). He had a passion for the sport from an early age but gave it all up to enrol in the art of city banking. He may have forgotten his values, his morals and his all round decency but this cycle ride is likely to get him back on track to become a good person again.

Joe Clarke
Nickname- Joseph and his technicoloured life
Bike- Pinnacle Borealis
Height- 5 ft 10   Weight- 11st 9
Strength- Organised fun

Joe has taken organised fun to a whole new dimension by organising this bike ride. Not only does he think the bike ride will be enjoyable he also thinks he has to do no training for it. Joe is known to have severe road rage having been involved in hit and runs on a couple of badgers, some gerbils and a pending tortoise. How many more innocent animals will he kill in order to keep his food budget for the trip to a minimum. Joe was very disappointed when he found out that he could not buy a bike from Poundland but will probably stock up on useless items before setting out on the trip...
